He became the first artist to replace their own song.

Celebrities always face some kind of controversy and Wallen faced his first one in 2020. He was highly intoxicated and was behaving disorderly for which he was arrested in front of Kid Rock’s bar in Nashville.
Just a few months later, Wallen ran into another controversy. Morgan was at Alabama partying at a bar where he was not wearing a mask and interrupting the guidelines of social distancing.
According to the footage, Wallen was even seen kissing some college female students. For that very reason, his show with Saturday Night Live was canceled. Morgan was finally getting over that controversy, but again in January, he found a shocking video.
The clip showed Morgan Wallen using the n-word with his friends. The video was taken by his neighbor and quickly surfed online, putting Wallen in a controversy. He even apologized to his fans for using the slur with Billboard.
“There’s no excuse. I’ve never made an excuse. I never will make an excuse,” he adds; “I’ve talked to a lot of people, heard stories [about] things that I would have never thought about because I wasn’t the one going through it.
And I think, for me, in my heart I was never that guy that people were portraying me to be, so there was a little bit of like, ‘Damn, I’m kind of actually mad about this a little bit because I know I shouldn’t have said this, but I’m really not that guy.’ I put myself in just such a sh-t spot, you know? Like, ‘You really messed up here, guy.’
If I was that guy, then I wouldn’t have cared. I wouldn’t have apologized. I wouldn’t have done any of that if I really was that guy that people were saying about me.”
